Nazar received her BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Turkey, in 2003 and 2005, respectively. Recently, she advanced to candidacy for a Ph.D. at UC Davis. Her research includes the study of surface characterization and image analysis.
